Volt Africa

Despite moving towards a more equal and inclusive environment within the general workplace, women still remain significantly underrepresented in the world of tech and business. These odds, however, have not stopped female Chief Financial Officer of Volt Africa, Samantha Naidu.

Challenging the status quo, her leadership has led to the company’s double win at the prestigious International Global Media Awards (INMA), an annual event that rewards companies for innovation, excellence in growing an audience, brand, and revenue. Volt Africa’s win has not only showcased the company’s innovative thinking, but it has also allowed the company to recognise smaller businesses, who too, wish to turn their business dreams into a reality.

During June, Volt Africa hosted a competition in which SMEs were afforded the opportunity to win a digital campaign worth R20 000 on one of the biggest digital news platforms in South Africa, IOL.

We are pleased to announce the winner of the competition,  Mrs. Shakirah Allie. Entering motherhood, Mrs. Allie realised that there was a huge gap in the market for sustainable cloth nappies. Upon conducting her research and investing in her own business, @luiershakes was born.

The effect of Covid-19 on the economy impacted this business negatively. Sales slowed down as consumers and small businesses alike faced economic difficulty. Volt Africa has given Luier Shakes a glimmer of hope.

As a digitally integrated service provider, Volt Africa offers complete digital solutions to small and medium businesses by providing them with the necessary tools to help grow and maximise their brand identity and audience, digitally taking their business to its full potential.

Turn your business goals into reality and to achieve all your technical and creative goals to build and grow your business.
